Sleepy Girl

Emme's had a nasty cold this week. We've been staying inside a lot, drinking lots of fluids and sleeping with a humidifier. Yesterday we ran out of tylenol and ibuprophen, so I decided to walk with Emme down to the store for more, since it was a nice day. Our stroller tire is flat, so we took the wagon which Emme loves.

She was so exhausted from being sick, that she just sat there and enjoyed the scenery. (And usually she'd be trying to climb out and touch & see everything.) On the way home as I was huffing and puffing up the hill, I noticed she was unusually quiet. When I pulled the wagon into our driveway and stopped, I realized this was why she was quiet...



She'd fallen asleep in the wagon, sitting up! She was doing the whole head-jerk thing, where you start to tip to one side and then jerk back upright. Poor girl needed her rest!
