At two weeks old, June is still a sweet, content baby. She lost her umbilical cord finally so we were able to give her her first real bath (which she hated!). We also took our first real outing to a grocery store because we were out of real food. I had to push the two boys in a cart in front of me and pull her in a cart behind me in her carseat, ha ha. But she slept the whole time and we had food to eat for dinner, so it was a win-win.
June is sleeping from about 9 or 10 PM until about 2 AM, and then going back down until 6 or 7 AM. She still naps a lot during the day but is starting to get a little more interactive. She seems to smile a lot at Henry! I kept thinking it was just gas, but now I'm convinced she just loves Henry to pieces.
June also loves her binky, and only cries when she's hungry or has a dirty diaper. Most of the time she is a very content little babe!
June had her two week checkup and weighs 8 lbs 7 oz (so almost back to her birth weight), and is 21.5" long. Maybe she'll be tall like Stanley? We'll see.
As you can see, she has no shortage of attention at our house. We just love our little Junebug!
