Flash Forward

A few weeks ago I went shopping at The Gateway with my brother Nate. I was newly pregnant and still feeling great, so I couldn't resist stopping at A Pea In A Pod and trying on a few things. I found this cute skirt to try on, but when I did it sort of hung funny in front. Then we realized that's what the faux-bellies in the dressing room were for. So I strapped on one, and when I stepped out of the dressing room, Nate and I couldn't stop laughing.

Is this really what I'm going to look like in a few months? Wow. It's still doesn't feel real yet.

I still haven't been able to get Chris into a maternity store with me yet. One look at these pictures was enough for him.

You look so cute! Maternity clothes are so comfy. You should try Motherhood Maternity too-they are much cheaper than Pea in a Pod and have some really great stuff (my favorite is their basic shirts with the bunching on the sides, simple but comfy and cute!). The only time my hubby went into one of those stores was at Christmas for me because he knew how upset I was about my weight gain! I've been going with my mom and it's been fun. Just wait until you're at the point that your jeans don't fit anymore but you're still too small to fit well into the maternity pants (that's kind of where I'm at). Crazy!

You will be adorable! I suggest getting a "belly band" (2 or 3, actually). I have worn my normal pants this whole time for the most part and I didn't have to get a whole new wardrobe :) Just some food for thought.
