A few weeks ago my second-cousin William Bekker came home from his mission to Norway (the same mission Amy is in). Michelle, Jeff, Henry and I went to listen to him speak. He and Amy became good friends in the mission field and he told us how well she was doing. We shared hugs all around. And we got to hear Elder Scott speak to us a little bit because that is his home ward.
We also got to meet Amy's first companion, Sister Jessica Taylor! She was a great companion to Amy. She had a mission blog that I read start to finish so I feel like I know her even though this was the first time we spoke to her. She is a special girl. It was so fun to meet her & give hugs. I can't believe Amy will be home in 8 months!
